The first new in-depth book published under TheTaxAuthority Series is entitled Understanding Health Care Reform, which includes an explanation of new law contained in the Reconciliation Act of 2010 in combination with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Subjects include tax provisions affecting individuals, employers and employee benefit plans, and insurance and medical providers.
“I have had several clients ask me about the new benefits individuals and small business owners may be entitled to under the new health care reform legislations,” said Brad Imsdahl, Executive Editor. “Client questions are not limited to new tax law. They want to know about non-tax related provisions as well. It is similar to the questions we get concerning Social Security benefits. Our clients assume we know something about these topics.”
