How many copies of TheTaxBook should I Order?

Reasons to Choose the Deluxe Edition:
  1. Even tax professionals solely focused on preparing individual returns receive questions about small business taxation. Business items from corporations and partnerships must be properly reported on individual returns. The Deluxe Edition will help you understand the nature of business items flowing through to individual returns.
  2. Learn more about small business taxation. Expand your business by offering 1065, 1120, and 1120s tax preparation!
  3. The marginal price difference makes it easy to choose the Deluxe Edition. Find out why it is our #1 seller!

Reasons to Choose the Deluxe Edition:
  1. Contains everything in the 1040 Edition plus excellent small business coverage.
  2. Save 20% vs. purchasing two books.
  3. Having everything in one book is convenient and saves time.
Reasons to Choose separate 1040 and Small Business Editions:
  1. Having two books provides the flexibility to have multiple tax professionals researching at the same time.
  2. The Small Business Edition contains expanded small business coverage not found in the Deluxe Edition (click here to learn more).
  3. Because of the frequency of use, every tax professional should have the 1040 Edition on his or her desk. The Small Business Edition can be shared among tax professionals. Separate books allow for flexible ordering to meet your office needs.

Reasons to Order the All States Edition:
  1. Don't waste your valuable time trudging through each states website to find the information you need. The All States Edition gives you what you need to prepare income tax returns for every state!
  2. The book easily pays for itself in the time you will save researching one out-of-state return.
  3. Just like federal taxation, state taxation changes each year. Find a recap of the changes for each state in the All States Edition!

Reasons to Choose the WebCD:
  1. The WebCD is the perfect compliment to the hard copy books. The extensive tax library allows you to perform in-depth tax research. Plus, you can provide your clients crisp and clear printouts!
  2. Receive updates throughout tax season! Tax rules change throughout the entire tax season. The WebCD keeps you up-to-date!
  3. Easy and intuitive navigation helps you find your answer fast!

With four different editions, you have flexibility when ordering TheTaxBook to meet your office needs!

How many Deluxe Editions do I need?
The Deluxe Edition is great for tax preparers who are primarily focused on individual returns with a secondary focus on small business taxation. Because the Deluxe Edition contains all the information that is present in the 1040 Edition, our customers commonly order a copy of the Deluxe Edition for each tax preparer in the office. In addition to 1040 information, the Deluxe Edition provides answers about partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, LLCs, and payroll, as well as other business issues.

How many 1040 Editions do I need?
Because of the frequency of reference, offices usually have either the 1040 Edition or the Deluxe Edition (which contains the same information as the 1040 Edition) on the desk of every preparer. Customers who prefer the separate Small Business Edition may choose to order a 1040 Edition for each preparer in the office, with the number of Small Business Editions depending on how many individuals will be seeking answers to questions about partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, LLCs, and payroll, as well as other business issues.

How many Small Business Editions do I need?
Our customers generally order one copy of the Small Business Edition for each tax preparer who has a primary focus on small business returns, to be used in conjunction with the 1040 Edition. If the firm is focused mostly on individual returns, each preparer can have a 1040 Edition at his or her desk, with a smaller number of Small Business Editions to be shared throughout the office. Considering the modest price, and the frequency of small business-related questions that arise even with individual returns, we recommend making sure that enough Small Business Editions are orderd to ensure immediate availability whenever a tax preparer needs to use the shared resource.

How many All States Editions do I need?
One copy of the All States Edition is generally shared between two to three tax preparers. It is a must have for every office!
